The Symphony revamps its look to align with forward-looking community initiatives. New logo wins the 2024 Gold Addy Award and 2024 Silver Best of Branding Award.


In 2023, my team and I worked with Symphony San Jose to help facilitate the organization’s efforts to rebrand.

The Symphony is passionate about classical music and has driven various initiatives to expand access to symphonic music across the Silicon Valley. The organization was seeking to further engage the community through updated branding and a new website.

By re-establishing the organization’s core values, mission, and plans for the future, we were able to develop a new go-to-market strategy, visual language, logo, and website.

The goal of this project was to:

  • Freshen the look and feel of the brand

  • Enhance customer experiences through new website

  • Champion the organization’s passion for music education

Responsibilities included:

  • Helped facilitate a series of branding workshops with project stakeholders and executive teams

  • Built a robust content strategy that catered to all audiences (e.g. sponsors, donors, board members, ticket buyers)

  • Developed new content to align with the brand’s values—engagement, exploration, environment, education, and equity.
